Explosion heard in Iran's industrial city of Abadan
According to CCTV News, around 12:50 PM local time on the 2nd, two explosions were reported in Abadan, a city in southwestern Iran bordering Iraq. The exact location of the attack is unknown. Additionally, explosions were also heard earlier that morning in Khorramshahr, near Abadan. Abadan is an industrial hub in Iran, with many oil refineries concentrated there.
