The three major U.S. stock indices all closed lower, with the Nasdaq down 1.59% for the week, a total decline of 1.24%; the S&P 500 down 1.33%, a weekly decline of 2.02%; and the Dow Jones down 0.95%, a weekly decline of 3.01%. Large technology stocks mostly fell, with Intel dropping over 5%, Nvidia down 3%, Amazon, Tesla, and Meta down over 2%, Apple down more than 1%, and Microsoft and Google slightly lower.
