ChainCatcher reports that, according to WIRED, sources familiar with the matter reveal that NVIDIA is planning to launch an open-source platform for AI agents. NVIDIA is pitching this product to enterprise software companies. The platform is called NemoClaw. It will allow companies to deploy AI agents to perform various tasks for their employees. Sources say that regardless of whether a company’s software products run on NVIDIA chips, they can access the platform.

This move comes as NVIDIA prepares to hold its annual developer conference next week in San Jose. Ahead of the conference, NVIDIA has been in talks with several companies, including Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, and CrowdStrike, hoping to establish partnerships for the AI agent platform. It is not yet clear whether these discussions have resulted in formal agreements.

Sources indicate that since the platform is an open-source project, potential partners are likely to contribute code or resources while gaining free and early access. Additionally, NVIDIA plans to include security and privacy tools within this new open-source AI agent platform.
