The best way for men to live:

The best way for men to live includes learning self-reliance, being patient, making the worst-case scenario plans, taking initiative, cultivating oneself, cherishing oneself, being indifferent to gains and losses, controlling temper, and learning to love others as well as oneself. These principles help men achieve success on their life journey while maintaining health and happiness.

1. Self-Reliance
Self-reliance and independence are the first keys to living well. You can't rely on parents or others; on the road of life, only you can truly help yourself go far.

2. Patience
Be able to bow your head and avoid争面子 (saving face) or强 (being strong). Don't argue with meaningless people;忍 (endure) when necessary. Don't argue with trashy people. When you're not strong enough, reading people's faces is also a skill. Let go of pride and admit your shortcomings—that's growth.

3. Make the worst-case scenario plans and maintain the best attitude
Life won't always go as planned, so prepare for the worst in advance. When bad things happen, don't get too upset; keep a balanced mindset and avoid complaints. Good days bring happiness, bad days bring experience, and terrible days teach lessons.

4. Take initiative
Don't just go with the flow to shirk responsibility or escape. True acceptance of the flow is doing your best without forcing it. Do everything you can, and only then let nature take its course if necessary.

5. Cultivate oneself
Don't look down on anyone. Don't participate in discussions or evaluations of people you don't understand. Understand your own affairs, others' affairs, and even heaven's affairs—just focus on doing your own thing.

6. Cherish yourself
Take care of yourself and don't just work tirelessly. Don't exhaust your energy; health is not something to exchange for anything. Living healthily is more important than anything.

7. Be indifferent to gains and losses
Life won't always be smooth sailing; there will be ups and downs. Don't be overly obsessed after trying your best. Learning to accept loss will bring new gains.

8. Control your temper
Control your temper; there's no need to display machismo everywhere. Losing your temper is instinctive; controlling it is a skill. The more a man can control his temper, the luckier he is.

9. Love others and learn to love yourself
Men should learn to love others and also learn to love themselves. Don't silently bear everything like steel; turn around and love yourself. Only by comforting yourself can you truly be good to others. The prerequisite is to first learn to love yourself.
