Cuban Government Files Public Charges Against 6 Individuals Involved in U.S. Speedboat Incident

The Cuban government has filed charges against six individuals involved in the American boat incident. On March 3rd local time, the Cuban Prosecutor General’s Office announced that six people involved in the breach of Cuban territorial waters by an American boat and the subsequent firefight with law enforcement have been formally charged with “committing acts of terrorism” and have been prosecuted. The Cuban Prosecutor General’s Office stated that the prosecution has ordered preventive detention for the defendants. (CCTV News)
