Iran Warns of Strikes Against Financial Institutions Funding U.S. Military Operations

Iran's Islamic Parliament Speaker Kalbayof posted on social media on Sunday, stating that beyond U.S. military bases, financial institutions that provide funding support for U.S. military expenditures are also "legitimate targets" for Iran to strike. Kalbayof said Iran is monitoring the movement of related financial assets and called this a "final warning."On the other hand, Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi sent a letter to the United Nations Secretary-General and Security Council members, strongly condemning the United States and Israel for recent blatant violations of international law and multiple attacks on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities, calling on the Security Council to take immediate action.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Sunday posted on social media that, in addition to U.S. military bases, financial institutions that fund U.S. military expenses are also legitimate targets for Iran. Larijani said Iran is monitoring the flow of related financial assets and called this a “final warning.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif sent letters to the UN Secretary-General and Security Council members, strongly condemning the recent blatant violations of international law by the United States and Israel, including multiple attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, and called for the Security Council to take immediate action.
