6000+ Positions Seeking Talent, Guangdong Universities Teacher Training Specialist Recruitment Fair Held at South China Normal University
On March 21, the “Just in Nanyue” Guangdong Province 2026 College Graduate Series Recruitment and Matchmaking Event—Rural Teaching, Publicly Funded Normal Students, and Normal & Comprehensive Majors—was held at South China Normal University. The event was organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and hosted by South China Normal University.
This recruitment and matchmaking activity relied on the Guangdong Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Smart Service Platform and adopted an integrated online and offline approach. It is an important measure to serve the rural revitalization strategy and optimize the supply of basic education talent. A total of 223 employers participated, offering over 6,000 quality positions across fields such as education, technology, finance, and manufacturing. The event featured two main zones: Zone A for rural teaching and publicly funded normal students, and Zone B for normal and comprehensive majors. In Zone A, all 21 municipal education bureaus in Guangdong were present to interpret job positions and policies for graduates. Zone B gathered education bureaus, schools, and well-known enterprises from both within and outside the province, providing diverse employment options for graduates. According to statistics, over 3,000 students participated, with orderly现场 and enthusiastic交流 between employers and graduates.
The event also featured special themed display boards and service zones. The display boards showcased South China Normal University’s “1+N+X” innovation and entrepreneurship education system, employment and entrepreneurship e-station development, the “Career Development and Employment Service Season” series of activities, and Guangzhou City’s employment and entrepreneurship support policies. The service zones were divided into three main sections: Future Empowerment Zone, New Career Launch Zone, and AI Empowerment Zone. The Future Empowerment Zone focused on graduates’ real needs, offering one-on-one services such as resume clinics, career development, rights protection, and further education. The New Career Launch Zone collaborated with the Entrepreneurship College and counselor studios to showcase excellent cases of grassroots employment and graduate innovation and entrepreneurship, promoting volunteer service programs like the Western Plan and “Three Supports and One Assistance” grassroots employment projects. The AI Empowerment Zone provided AI resume optimization, AI mock interviews, and interactive AI career card games, guiding students to explore their career goals through immersive interaction and clarifying their career development paths.
It is reported that the Student Work Department (Graduate Student Work Department) of South China Normal University’s Party Committee Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center has designated March to June 2026 as the Spring Semester “Career Development and Employment Service Season.” They will coordinate with various colleges and counselor studios to build a comprehensive career guidance system, create an all-around employment service matrix, continuously improve the precision and satisfaction of employment services, and promote high-quality, full employment for graduates.
