On the evening of the 20th local time, a spokesperson for the Central Command of Hatam Anbia in Iran stated that any violation targeting Iran’s territory and national sovereignty will become a target for retaliation.

The spokesperson also warned the United Arab Emirates that if they again launch attacks from their territory against Abu Musa Island and Greater Tunb Island in the Persian Gulf, Iranian armed forces will retaliate against the Ras Al Khaimah Emirate of the UAE.

Abu Musa Island, Greater Tunb Island, and Lesser Tunb Island are located in the Persian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz. They are currently controlled by Iran, but the UAE also claims sovereignty over these three islands.
