The military strikes by the United States and Israel against Iran entered their 23rd day on March 22. Iran announced the use of low-cost, quickly mass-producible new drones to attack Ben-Gurion Airport in Israel and proposed six ceasefire conditions, including the closure of U.S. military bases in the Middle East. U.S. President Trump limited Iran to 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz; otherwise, he threatened to strike its power plants. Iran responded firmly, stating that if attacked, it would fully close the Strait of Hormuz. The Israeli military also bombed several bridges in Lebanon and announced a “deepening” of the ground offensive. As the targets of U.S., Israel, and Iran continue to expand, the regional situation faces further risks of losing control. (CCTV News)
