Huatai Futures: Myanmar Geopolitical Conflict Has Not Affected Tin Ore Production, Shanghai Tin Price Expected to Remain High and Volatile

Currently, the geopolitical conflict in Myanmar has not had a substantial impact on tin ore production. Progress has been made in water extraction issues in the mining areas, and the Wa State tin mine is expected to resume full production. Geopolitically, the Middle East remains tense, and market panic sentiment is rising. Multiple factors have combined to cause the Shanghai tin price to hit the daily limit down yesterday. Tin prices still have support on the downside due to the start of operations after the New Year and the tight raw material supply at this stage. It is expected that prices will remain volatile at high levels. (Huatai Futures)
