From January to February this year, China's engineering machinery product exports increased by 33.4% year-on-year.
According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in the first two months of this year, China’s construction machinery exports continued to grow rapidly. The latest data shows that in the first two months, China’s construction machinery exports reached $10.686 billion, a year-on-year increase of 33.4%. Even in February, during the Spring Festival holiday, exports exceeded $5.1 billion, surpassing the average monthly export value of $5.016 billion in 2025.
In terms of export regions, construction machinery products have seen growth across all continents, with exports to Africa increasing by 77%, to Oceania by 50.6%, and to Europe by 28.1%. Exports to countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative totaled $4.638 billion, accounting for 43.4% of total exports, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%.
Regarding product types, exports of construction machinery parts, tracked excavators, and non-road mining dump trucks have all significantly increased. High-end and electric models have become new highlights in exports. A relevant person from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association stated that the competitiveness of China’s construction machinery industry continues to improve, and future exports are expected to maintain steady growth, becoming an important force for high-quality Chinese manufacturing to go global.
