On the 10th local time, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova commented on the situation around Iran. She revealed that on March 8, the administrative building of Isfahan city in Iran was attacked, causing damage to the nearby Russian Consulate General, with glass shattered and several staff members knocked over by the blast wave. Fortunately, no deaths or serious injuries occurred. Zakharova emphasized that attacks on diplomatic and consular missions are a blatant violation of fundamental international legal documents such as the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. Russia calls on all parties to ensure the safety of diplomatic personnel and urges all conflicting sides to immediately cease military confrontation and return to the negotiating table. (CCTV News)
