People’s Financial News, March 20 — At tonight’s earnings conference, Xiaopeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng stated that the new generation IRON humanoid robot from Xiaopeng will achieve mass production by the end of 2026. In the first quarter, the company started building a production base in Guangzhou. The IRON robot is equipped with three Turing AI chips, and the second-generation VLA technology stack has been successfully tested on the robot. The company expects to see improvements in mobility and control capabilities in the second half of this year. He Xiaopeng said that the IRON robot’s monthly production capacity by the end of this year is targeted at over a thousand units, with priority deployment in stores and parks for scenarios such as guided tours and shopping assistance. As an industry benchmark, Yushu disclosed in its prospectus that its humanoid robot shipped approximately 5,500 units in 2025. If Xiaopeng’s goal of over a thousand units per month is achieved smoothly, it will correspond to a higher frequency of scaled production.
