China Citic Bank Adds New Vice President, 52-Year-Old Zhao Yuanxin Promoted to Position

On the evening of March 20, CITIC Bank (601998.SH, 0998.HK) announced a board resolution stating that it approved the appointment of Mr. Zhao Yuanxin as Vice President of CITIC Bank Corporation Limited. He will officially assume his position once approved by the regulatory authorities.

Zhao Yuanxin was born in February 1974 and has 29 years of experience in China’s banking industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hunan University of Finance and Economics and is a certified economist.

Zhao Yuanxin has held various positions at CITIC Bank branches. According to his resume, from July 2005 to August 2014, he served as Assistant President, Party Committee Member, and Vice President at the Suzhou Branch; and as Party Secretary and President of the Nanchang Branch (equivalent to Deputy Head of a Level 1 Branch). From August 2014 to November 2025, he served as Party Secretary and President at the Nanchang, Suzhou, and Shanghai branches. Since November 2025, he has been the General Manager of the Bank’s Credit Execution Department. Starting from March 2026, he will serve as a Party Committee Member of CITIC Bank.

Currently, the Party Secretary and Chairman of CITIC Bank is Fang Heying. The Vice Presidents include Hu Gang, Xie Zhibin, He Jinsong, Gu Lingyun, and Jin Xinian. Lu Jingen is the Business Director, and Zhang Qing is the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
