Sapien launched Sapien Squad and airdrop rewards for the Base community.

Deep Tide TechFlow news, on May 7, the open protocol Sapien, which connects human intelligence with AI systems, announced the official launch of Sapien Squad. The event will be initiated on the Base network, aiming to unite the earliest and most active communities within the network to collaboratively build a shared data factory that supports real-world AI systems.

The first round of activities starts from the Toshi community and launches today. Sapien has taken a snapshot of the top 100,000 wallets with the highest recent activity and participation in the Toshi ecosystem, of which 50,000 wallets can receive the Sapien Squad badge on a first-come, first-served basis. This badge is an NFT that confirms eligibility for airdrops and unlocks access to subsequent tasks, minting, and rewards.

Eligible wallets can mint for free, and each wallet can only claim one Sapien Squad badge during the Toshi phase.

Sapien Squad aims to unite multiple communities on the Base network, similar to a decentralized AI super team (MegaZord): each community contributes its unique energy, spirit, and members to create a whole that exceeds the sum of its parts. The ultimate goal is to establish an open, human-driven data factory that makes AI more transparent, diverse, and practical.
