The Los Angeles Police Department in California, USA has announced a citywide tactical alert.

Jin10 data reported on June 9 that on the afternoon of June 8 local time, police in riot gear from the Los Angeles Police Department retreated after confronting protesters near the Edward Roybal Federal Building. Around the same time, the Los Angeles Police Department announced that the entire city was under tactical alert, allowing supervisors to extend officers’ shifts during emergencies or significant events and maintain a high level of staffing. It is reported that such alerts are intended to authorize officers to work overtime.
