The well-known American retail company Walmart (Walmart) has launched drone delivery services at 100 stores across five major cities in the United States. As early as 2023, Walmart had already partnered with Wing, a subsidiary of Alphabet, to pilot drone services at two stores in Texas. Currently, Walmart has become the first retail company to implement drone delivery on a large scale across state lines.
