Bitcoin is often compared to the internet, and it is noted that the adoption of both is similar.

At this point, the final comparison came from Fidelity Investments. The giant company drew parallels between these two concepts: “the growth of Bitcoin and the rise of the internet”.

Fidelity Global Macro Director Jurrien Timmer stated that Bitcoin’s growth trend resembles the adoption curve of the internet in the past and that it is currently right in the middle of the adoption curve.

Timmer noted that the growth and adoption of Bitcoin resembles the spread curve of the internet in the past.

Timmer, who draws parallels between Bitcoin and the internet boom, emphasized that the growth curve of Bitcoin closely resembles the internet adoption curve of the past decade and stated that BTC is still in the early stages of a wider adoption cycle.

“Bitcoin continues to follow both the Power Law curve of its wallets and the demand model based on the internet adoption curve. We are currently right in the middle of the adoption curve.”

Timmer recently revealed his forecast regarding the price of Bitcoin. Accordingly, setting an upper target range of 200,000-300,000 dollars as a long-term price model for Bitcoin, Timmer stated that the current structure of BTC is upward.
