Kraken will integrate INK Token and the Ink network to promote product upgrades and welcome the Airdrop.

DailyNews

PANews, July 24 – According to The Block, the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken plans to integrate its INK Token and Ink Layer 2 network into its existing core product system to serve global customers. Kraken stated that this move will “unlock a new wave of application scenarios driven by on-chain protocols and infrastructure.” As part of this plan, INK Token will be included in the Kraken Drops rewards program, with eligible users receiving an airdrop. The Ink Foundation claims that INK aims to maximize network utility rather than being used for “speculation,” and will not participate in governance decisions for Ink Layer 2, mainly being used for liquidity aggregation and incentivizing network application usage. Kraken co-CEO Arjun Sethi stated that INK will help “unify the infrastructure for on-chain and off-chain users” and drive standardization of value flow. Since Kraken announced the upcoming airdrop of INK, the total value locked in the Ink network has surged from approximately $20 million in June to over $102 million in July.
