The EU's largest natural gas project has secured more buyers ahead of its launch in 2027.

Jin10 reported on September 10 that the operator OMV Petrom stated that a gas field near the Romanian coast is about to become the largest gas asset in the EU by production. The company is currently seeking more gas buyers for this project. OMV Petrom's CEO Christina Verchere said in an interview that the company plans to start gas supply from the Neptun Deep project in the Black Sea off Romania in 2027, and has completed “several” new deals, including a contract with the German energy giant Uniper SE.
