The 4/5-character Tokens (such as ORDI, SATS) will be available in the second phase of BRC2.0. BRC2.0 is an upgraded version of the BRC 20 protocol primarily developed by domo and Best in Slot, which went live on September 1st, launching the first phase that opened the programmability of 6-character BRC20 Tokens, with the second phase awaiting initiation. According to official information, CatSwap's launch marks the first realization of native BRC 20 asset programmable Swap on the Bitcoin Mainnet, breaking through the functional limitations of the BRC20 protocol through AMM trading and liquidity pool mechanisms. CatSwap also introduces ORDI & BRC20 strategies, aiming to enhance the on-chain liquidity of ORDI to attract more liquidity and volume for the platform.
