Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday, “After reviewing the details of the unserious and absurd demands put forth by a handful of radical left-wing Democrats, I have decided that a meeting with their congressional leaders is not likely to yield any results.” Trump and Republicans are pushing for a seven-week temporary bill to fund the government before reaching a full-year agreement later this fall.
