Oracle bone script confirms that its users have been extorted by hackers.

Jin10 reported on October 3rd that Oracle (ORCL.N) stated on Thursday local time that users of its E-Business Suite product “received ransom emails,” confirming a warning first issued by Google (GOOG.O) on Wednesday. Oracle stated that its investigation found that hackers may have exploited previously discovered software vulnerabilities and urged customers to upgrade their products. When asked how many users were affected, Oracle did not respond immediately.
