Binance has approved the rebranding and redenominations of AI16Z into ELIZAOS. This change coincides with the upgrade of the Alpha 2.0 ecosystem that seeks to support interoperability of AI-based applications on multiple blockchain networks

The transition presents ELIZAOS as a new generation token, developed to simplify the process of connecting Solana with Base and Ethereum and other chains. The upgrade identifies a shift to scalable and efficient AI infrastructure in the blockchain ecosystem.

Trading Suspension and Conversion Timeline

The rebranding process will begin on November 6. Binance Alpha 2.0 will suspend AI16Z trading and deposits at 10:00 UTC. All AI16Z tokens in user accounts will automatically convert to ELIZAOS at a 1:6 ratio. Trading and deposits for ELIZAOS will resume at 02:00 UTC on November 7. Binance has advised users to complete all AI16Z deposits before the suspension begins. After the swap, AI16Z will no longer be supported on the platform.

On Binance Futures, all open AI16ZUSDT perpetual contracts will close and settle automatically at 09:00 UTC on November 6. The exchange will block new positions from 08:30 UTC. After settlement, the contract will be removed, and details of a potential relisting will be announced later. Binance noted that during the final hour before settlement, no Insurance Fund support will be available for liquidations.

Token Supply and Distribution Changes

After the migration, ELIZAOS’s total supply will increase from 6.6 billion to 11 billion tokens. The circulating supply will rise to 7.4 billion. Out of the total supply, 75% will go to the community, with 60% allocated to existing AI16Z holders

Another 5.5% will support liquidity and listings, while 4.5% will be used for the foundation’s development. The remaining tokens include 2.5% for the ecosystem and 2.5% for protocol-owned liquidity. The SAFT allocation will account for 15%, and 10% will go to the team and contributors.

AI Integration and Market Impact

The AI16Z token originally served as the utility asset for Auto.fun, an autonomous AI agent platform. ELIZAOS’ rebranding is a step towards generative AI and interchain integration. The update is influenced by a previous ELIZA chatbot of the 1960s, and it suggests that it focuses on interactive AI experiences

ELIZAOS will work as an interoperable token in various chains and minimize the use of bridges, and enhance the efficiency of transactions. Earlier this year, Binance Futures launched the BANKUSDT contract with 50x leverage. Moreover, in May, Binance listed BABYUSDT futures with 5x leverage, supporting Babylon’s Bitcoin staking protocol and expanding its futures offerings.

During the announcement, AI16Z was trading at $0.074, and this is an appreciation of 25.6% in the last 24 hours. This volatility of the token was sustained as the market was experiencing active participation in the run-up to the migration.
