According to Techub News, the decentralized AI data network Port3 Network tweeted that a hacker exploited a vulnerability in BridgeIn to mint additional tokens. The team has removed liquidity and is preparing to communicate with the hacker.

According to user Yujin's monitoring, a Hacker created 1 billion PORT3 tokens through a bridging vulnerability 3 hours ago and then sold them on-chain, causing PORT3 to drop by 76%. The Hacker sold a total of 162.75 million PORT3 for 199.5 BNB (16.6 million USD). Subsequently, the PORT3 project team removed liquidity from the chain, and some CEXs suspended PORT3 deposits. After the Hacker was unable to continue selling the tokens, they chose to destroy the remaining 837.25 million PORT3 that had not been sold.
