Odaily Planet Daily reports that Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon will be appearing later today (December 11) in a Manhattan court to face a judgment from U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer. It is understood that the prosecution has requested a 12-year prison sentence for Mr. Quan, citing factors including his guilty plea. Earlier, at a hearing presided over by U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer in the Southern District of New York, Do Kwon pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit fraud and telecommunications fraud. In January this year, he had refused to plead guilty to an indictment involving nine charges including securities fraud, telecommunications fraud, commodities fraud, and money laundering. (Decrypt)
