According to Reuters, Strategy will continue to be included in the Nasdaq 100 index until the end of December, maintaining its current position despite ongoing discussions related to the index structure. This decision provides short-term clarity for investors tracking Nasdaq indices, as there have been no immediate changes to Strategy’s status this year.
However, a new review is scheduled to take place in early 2026. The global index provider MSCI will reassess its index construction methodology in January, determining whether Strategy and similar business model companies will remain included in their indices. Any removal by MSCI could have broader implications due to the organization’s significant influence on global passive investment flows. Meanwhile, Nasdaq has confirmed that the latest index rebalancing adjustments will take effect officially from December 22.
