PANews January 21 - The State Council Information Office held a press conference today to introduce the achievements in industrial and information development by 2025. Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that the next step for the MIIT will be to continue promoting technological innovation and iterative upgrades of humanoid robots. Using humanoid robots as a small entry point, the goal is to drive the development of the large computing intelligence industry. The ministry will also strengthen inspections and testing of humanoid robot product quality, network and data security, conduct related research on technological ethics and management services, and ensure high-level security to support high-quality development. Additionally, the MIIT will accelerate the development of the humanoid robot ecosystem, enhance support from the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund for humanoid robots, build an open-source community for humanoid robots, publish guidelines for the construction of comprehensive standards for humanoid robots and embodied intelligence, and promote global sharing of innovative achievements.
