ETHGas(GWEI) will be available for perpetual contract trading on Gate starting January 21, supporting 1-20x leverage

Gate will launch ETHGas (GWEI) perpetual contracts for live trading at 22:10 (UTC+8) on January 21, 2026, supporting USDT settlement and leverage options from 1x to 20x. Meanwhile, Gate Perp DEX will simultaneously launch the GWEI/USDT perpetual contract trading pair.

In addition, Gate will introduce GWEI unified account lending and isolated margin trading pairs at the same time, and launch GWEI Spare Coin Wealth Management, flexible mortgage lending, and fixed-term mortgage lending functions. Within one hour of GWEI perpetual contracts going live, copy trading and trading robot services will be available.

One hour after GWEI spot trading goes live, Gate will launch GWEI Instant Swap and Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) features, allowing users to exchange GWEI for USDT or other supported tokens, with multiple DCA cycles such as hourly and daily.
