BlockBeats News, January 22 — According to Bloomberg, due to the Senate Banking Committee shifting its legislative focus to support Donald Trump’s housing affordability policies, the US crypto market structure bill is expected to be delayed by at least a few weeks, with review possibly extending into late February or March. Meanwhile, the Senate Agriculture Committee still plans to release and advance its version of digital asset legislation, with a vote scheduled for January 27. The relevant text will then need to be merged with the Banking Committee’s version and submitted for full Senate review.
