Bill Gates’ name appears in Epstein files, sparking attention. Former wife Melinda French Gates openly states this is a societal reckoning against the privileged enabling crimes. Although Gates admits regret over his dealings with Epstein and has apologized, the allegations of hidden STDs and other misconduct revealed in the files still cause public outrage.
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, worth over a hundred billion dollars, has recently attracted attention after his name appeared in the files of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Gates’ ex-wife and renowned philanthropist Melinda French Gates recently responded in an NPR Podcast interview on “Wild Card.” She said that seeing the details of Epstein’s files made her recall very painful memories from her marriage. As the files are made public, society is conducting a necessary “reckoning” on how male elites have facilitated Epstein’s crimes.
Melinda stated that whenever details about her ex-husband’s dealings with Epstein surface, it is a form of torment for her:
“I can’t know all the truth, but for the questions that remain, those involved — even my ex-husband — should answer, not me.”
In the interview, she mentioned that although she has moved on and started a new life, seeing the experiences of young victims at the time makes her heart break as a mother.

The Epstein files include emails purportedly written by Epstein, accusing Gates of having sexual relations with Russian women and trying to hide STDs from his then-wife Melinda.
Recently, Gates responded in an interview with Australia’s “9News,” stating that he did indeed have dinner with Epstein, but only to discuss charity fundraising, and emphasized that he never visited Epstein’s private island.
He frankly said: “Looking back, it was a dead end. I regret every minute I spent with him, and I apologize for it.”
Gates and Melinda ended their 27-year marriage in 2021. Before the divorce, Melinda was already dissatisfied with her husband’s relationship with Epstein. Gates also admitted after the divorce that he had an affair with a Microsoft employee in 2019.

The newly released Epstein files involve several prominent global political and business figures besides Bill Gates. According to BBC, Elon Musk was found to have exchanged emails with Epstein discussing schedules and inquiring about “wild parties,” but he clarified that he never set foot on Epstein’s private island.
U.S. President Donald Trump’s name also appears in the files, mainly related to FBI reports of anonymous tips, containing multiple unverified allegations of sexual misconduct. Trump has consistently denied any illegal activity.
As for former UK Prince Andrew (Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor), multiple photos show him interacting with unidentified women. Although he has repeatedly denied any misconduct, the exposure of these images undoubtedly expands the scope of the scandal.
Note: The individuals appearing in Epstein files do not necessarily imply involvement in illegal activities.
