Korea Hana Asset Management launches a new fund, attracting investor attention. The fund is called “Hana Dynamic Concentrated Buy EMP Target Conversion Fund,” a unique investment product that employs two strategies simultaneously in a rapidly changing market. The fund is designed to evenly invest in domestic listed thematic ETFs and Korea short-term bond ETFs.
Its core investment strategy focuses on quickly capturing leading themes while using Korea short-term bond ETFs to hedge against interest rate fluctuations. The target return is 7%. Once this return is achieved, the portfolio will shift to primarily short-term bonds, aiming to minimize return volatility. The fund will concentrate investments in multiple themes expected to see stock price increases, covering industries such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, power, and defense.
In terms of investment approach, Hana Asset Management adopts a bottom-up method starting from individual stock analysis. This approach not only follows thematic trends but also carefully analyzes each company’s financial statements and growth prospects to select investment themes, thereby reducing risks from market fluctuations. This method offers advantages in minimizing missed opportunities for leading themes or long-term capital lock-in.
The fund can be subscribed through Shinhan Bank, Jeonbo Securities, Hana Securities, Hana Investment Securities, and Hana Asset Management’s PINE app until the 6th of next month, with an expected launch on the 9th. The introduction of this new fund is expected to intensify competition in the fund market and provide investors with new options. How this fund will achieve financial stability and efficiency in the future remains to be seen.
