Analyst: Safe-haven assets may "gap higher" on Monday

BlockBeats News, on March 1st, Singapore OCBC Bank strategist Christopher Wong stated: "As the market is about to open on Monday, the Iran conflict has increased geopolitical risk premiums. The initial market reaction can be roughly anticipated: safe-haven assets like gold may experience ‘gap up’ openings, and due to concerns over supply disruptions, oil prices could also strengthen.

Risk assets and high-beta currencies… may face initial volatility, especially if news reports suggest possible retaliation or regional spillover effects." (Jin10)
