PANews, March 1 — According to CCTV News, before the United States and Israel were about to launch a military strike on Iran, the CIA had already identified the possible whereabouts of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei. Several insiders revealed that U.S. intelligence agencies had been tracking Khamenei’s activities for months, continuously improving their understanding of his travel patterns and potential locations. Subsequently, the U.S. learned that multiple high-ranking Iranian officials planned to hold a meeting on the morning of February 28 in a leadership office area in downtown Tehran, with Khamenei himself attending. After obtaining this intelligence, the U.S. and Israel decided to adjust the original strike timing. The White House and the CIA have not commented on this matter.
