US Government Says Processing Tariff Refund Applications Requires 4431161 Hours, Approximately 506 Years

Gate News Report, March 13 — After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled last month that the U.S. government’s large-scale tariffs were illegal, a large number of American companies quickly filed lawsuits demanding the return of previously paid tariffs. However, the U.S. government later stated that it could take up to 4,431,161 hours (about 506 years) to manually process all the refund requests.
