Gate News report, April 1, on-chain analyst Yu Jin’s monitoring shows that a certain CEX user is suspected to have fallen victim to a social engineering attack, resulting in the theft of 8,662 ETH (worth $18.19 million). The attacker transferred all of the $18.19 million worth of stolen assets (7,784 ETH + 26.5 BTC) into another CEX 6 hours ago; that exchange supports trading and withdrawals of cryptocurrencies without KYC.
