Adam Back Responds: I am not Satoshi Nakamoto

Gate News message, April 8, Adam Back posted on the X platform saying that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto, but that he had been paying close attention to cryptography, online privacy, and the positive impact of electronic cash on society very early on. Therefore, starting around 1992, he actively participated in Cypherpunks list discussions and application research on electronic cash and privacy technologies; these studies helped bring about Hashcash and other ideas. Previously, a New York Times article pointed out that Adam Back might be Satoshi Nakamoto, and the author of the article believed that Adam and Satoshi Nakamoto are highly similar in language habits, technical background, ideology, and logical application.
