Gate News message, April 22 — Anthropic’s latest AI model, Claude Mythos, identified 271 security vulnerabilities in Mozilla Firefox during internal testing, with all flaws remedied this week, Mozilla disclosed. In contrast, a previous version of Anthropic’s model had detected only 22 security-sensitive vulnerabilities.
Mozilla stated that all discovered vulnerabilities fell within the scope of findings by top human security researchers. Claude Mythos, launched in March 2026, is Anthropic’s most powerful model for reasoning, coding, and cybersecurity applications. The model is currently available to vetted partners including Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft through the “Project Glasswing” program.

Claude Code reportedly suspends the Pro plan rollout and says you need to subscribe to Max to use it. An Anthropic executive says it’s still being tested.
Recently, multiple users have found that the Anthropic website appears to have removed Claude Code from Pro (20 USD/month) and instead made it available under Max (starting at 100 USD/month). The official statement says this is only a test aimed at about 2% of new prosumer registrations, and existing Pro and Max users are not affected. This move is seen as a re-evaluation of the cost and pricing strategy for high-consumption features; in the future, such features may be separated from mainstream plans and move toward higher-tier, tiered pricing.

Claude account exposed in large-scale fraud and unauthorized charges! Victims in Taiwan and Canada lose tens of thousands, follow these three steps to protect yourself immediately
Recently, multiple Claude AI users have reported that their accounts were charged in bulk by Gift transactions. The main cause was the installation of a malicious Chrome extension, Start New Tab Search, which steals cookies and session tokens. Attackers can bypass passwords and 2FA to make charges. Victims are spread across Taiwan, Canada, and the United States, and the Anthropic interface only allows users to update payment methods and cannot remove cards. Customer service responses have been poor. It is recommended that you immediately check your billing and extensions, and submit a ticket to user safety and disclosure.
