GoPlus: Below version 1.0.41 of the Claude Chrome extension has a high-risk vulnerability; upgrade immediately

BlockBeats News, on March 27, according to GoPlus citing a Koi report, there is a high-risk prompt injection vulnerability in the Claude Chrome extension under Anthropic, affecting all versions below 1.0.41. GoPlus recommends users immediately update the Claude extension to version 1.0.41 or above, while remaining vigilant against phishing links.

GoPlus stated that attackers can hijack users’ Claude extension through malicious web pages and issue malicious prompts, taking over browser sessions and implementing data theft without detection.
