Gate News message, April 22 — HSBC has narrowed the list of bidders for its Singapore life insurance business to three companies: Allianz, Dai-ichi Life, and Sumitomo Life. The unit is valued at potentially up to $2 billion.

The three shortlisted firms are working with advisors to prepare binding acquisition offers, expected to be submitted within the coming weeks.
