Iran Fails to Confirm Reports of Delegation Travel to Pakistan for U.S. Talks

Gate News message, April 19 — Iran has not officially confirmed reports that an Iranian delegation would travel to Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, on Tuesday, April 21, according to Iran’s Tasnim news agency. The Iranian embassy in Pakistan’s press office told CCTV reporters that as of now, the embassy has not received official notification of a new round of talks, with more information expected to be released on April 20 midday or afternoon.

Earlier, U.S. President Trump posted on social media that an American delegation will hold talks with Iran in Islamabad on the evening of April 20, U.S. Eastern Time.
