Gate News message, April 20 — An Israeli senior official stated on April 20 that ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States do not address ballistic missile issues. Israel has expressed concern that even if both sides reach an agreement, it may not impose restrictions on Iran’s missile production.
Israel’s Defense Forces Intelligence Directorate recently submitted an assessment to senior military and political leadership showing projections of Iran’s missile production recovery speed. According to the analysis, if Israel does not launch the “Roaring Lion” military operation, Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal will continue to grow, potentially reaching approximately 8,000 warheads within 18 months and around 11,000 within 30 months.
