Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force Member Undergoes Psychiatric Evaluation After Embassy Intrusion

Gate News message, April 17 — The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office began a psychiatric evaluation today on Akihiro Murata, a member of Japan’s Ground Self-Defense Force, to assess his criminal responsibility for intruding into China’s embassy in Japan, according to Japan’s NTV.

The evaluation is expected to continue through June 16.
