U.S. stocks closed higher across the board, with tech stocks leading the rally

On Tuesday (December 23), U.S. stock market trading closed, with the three major indices rising together. Among them, the Nasdaq Composite Index performed the most notably, rising by 0.57%, gaining 133.02 points to 23,561.84; the S&P 500 Index followed closely, up by 0.46%, adding 31.3 points, ending at 6,909.79; the Dow Jones Industrial Average modestly increased, rising by 79.73 points, a gain of 0.16%, closing at 48,442.41.

Based on the percentage gains, the technology sector performed relatively strongly, reflecting the market’s continued focus on tech stocks. Against the backdrop of an overall positive market sentiment, all types of indices achieved positive growth, indicating broad market participation. This rally can also be seen as a positive market reaction to recent economic data, with all sectors realizing profits.
