Abstract generation in progress

【Blockchain Rhythm】On-chain data tracking shows that large trading institution Trend Research borrowed another 30 million USDT from the Aave protocol on January 20 and transferred it to a major exchange.

This institution has been active since November last year, using leveraged borrowing strategies to bottom out ETH against the trend. Currently, they hold 626,000 ETH, with an on-paper value of approximately $1.94 billion. However, with an average cost of $3,186, based on current market conditions, they are already at a floating loss of about $50 million.

Interestingly, they borrowed a total of 1 billion USDT on Aave, equivalent to a 2x leverage. This sizable loan fully demonstrates this institution’s outlook on the market — continuously increasing positions with real money. Based on this move, they are either optimistic about a mid-term rebound or engaging in larger capital reallocation. Whatever the case, it is worth market attention.

Still adding positions despite a 50 million loss, this guy really has faith, or he's just trapped and needs a turnaround.

Still daring to borrow with a floating loss of 50 million? Such temper... Either you've truly seen through the market outlook, or you're gambling with your life.

Buddy, this move... 1 billion USDT leverage, you really dare to play, floating loss of 50 million and still adding positions, either a genius or a fool [thinking] I've seen quite a few tricks of the market makers building a bottom, but this time it's truly suffocating. Continuous adding of positions shows that they understand everything. Bearish outlook, but institutions that dare to pile up positions like this definitely have something behind it. The key question is, can we retail investors keep up with the pace? Staying calm with a floating loss of 50 million, I really can't learn this mindset, but it also shows that their time horizon is different from ours. In this wave of adding positions, if it's not bait, then they must have seen something we haven't seen.

Still borrowing money to buy the dip despite a 50 million loss—this guy really has faith, or maybe he's just a gambler at heart.

Still risking 50 million in unrealized losses? You must be very optimistic, or just gambling heavily on a rebound.
