EHang Holdings Ltd. (EH), a pioneering force in autonomous aerial mobility technology, has tapped industry veteran Shuai Feng to lead its technical operations as Chief Technology Officer starting January 14, 2026. This strategic promotion underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its technical leadership during a critical growth phase.

Feng brings over a decade of hands-on experience at EHang, having joined the organization in July 2014 as part of the core founding team. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in architecting and bringing to market a diverse portfolio of pilotless human-carrying eVTOL aircraft, including the flagship EH184 and EH216-S models, alongside the next-generation VT35 platform. Beyond passenger aircraft, Feng has also overseen the development of the GD series aerial formation UAVs, establishing EHang’s presence across multiple segments of the autonomous aircraft market.

Under the technical vision of Founder, Chairman, and CEO Huazhi Hu, Feng has demonstrated a keen ability to translate innovation into viable commercial solutions. The company’s leadership has long prioritized cultivating engineering talent that can execute on the firm’s ambitious roadmap, making Feng’s elevation a natural recognition of his strategic contributions.

As EHang navigates its commercialization phase, Feng’s portfolio extends beyond pure R&D. He has taken ownership of building out the company’s procurement infrastructure and supply chain management capabilities—essential functions for scaling production.
