In the past two days, global risk appetite has been declining sharply. The situation in Greenland continues to ferment, US-EU trade frictions escalate, and Trump’s tariff expectations suppress US stocks. US Treasuries are also fluctuating, but gold is riding the wave, breaking through previous resistance levels, and the demand for safe-haven assets has been fully stimulated.

From a technical perspective, both the 4-hour and 1-hour charts are above the upper Bollinger Band, indicating strong bullish momentum. The MACD red bars are expanding, and although the KDJ and RSI are already in high territory, no clear divergence has been observed yet. This suggests that the short-term downside correction space is limited, and the upward momentum is still continuing.

My operational advice is: do not blindly chase highs; prioritize buying on dips. Focus on the support zone between 4800 and 4805—if the price retraces to this area and stabilizes, it’s a buy signal. The target is around 4830 to 4835, which is the previous resistance level that was hard to break. Place stop-loss below 4795 to manage risk. If the price does not retrace but instead breaks through 4835 directly, you can follow the trend and continue to look for higher targets around 4850.

One point to pay special attention to: the current market rhythm is entirely controlled by news. If a geopolitical emergency or policy change occurs, strategies must be adjusted immediately, and position management must be strictly enforced.

Buying the dip sounds good, but if this wave of geopolitical risk really blows up, even strong technicals won't help.

The chaos in Greenland has caused gold to take off, indeed the risk aversion sentiment is soaring. That 4800 resistance level must be held, otherwise 4795 will really have to be cut. In this phase, news-driven, a single piece of news can reverse the trend, so we still need to be cautious. MACD shows volume but RSI is so high, it feels safer to wait for a pullback. Only when 4835 is broken will I dare to follow; I don't believe this wave can keep pushing straight up.
