The White House announced that an executive order has been signed to curb major institutional investors from outbidding individual homebuyers in the real estate market. The move aims to address housing affordability pressures by leveling the playing field between retail buyers and large capital players. This policy shift reflects broader concerns about wealth concentration and market accessibility—issues that resonate across multiple asset classes, including crypto markets where retail participation and democratization remain hot topics.

Finally someone is taking action against these institutions. The housing prices are really outrageous. If you ask me, retail investors have been cut long enough; it's their turn to taste the bitterness. This logic should also apply to the crypto world. Why can big players manipulate the market at will? It's another policy with loud thunder but little rain. We'll see when it's truly implemented. Retail investors turning the tide? I think it's unlikely. Capital will find a way to bypass it.

What has the real estate market learned, and when will this logic be applied to the crypto world?
