【ChainNews】Ethereum spot ETFs saw significant fund withdrawals yesterday, with a net outflow of $230 million on January 20th, Eastern Time. Among institutional investors, attitudes were quite divided. BlackRock’s ETHA experienced the largest single-day net outflow at $92.3 million, but this did not affect its long-term fundraising ability — its cumulative net inflow has reached $12.845 billion. Fidelity’s FETH followed closely, with a net outflow of $51.5354 million yesterday, and its total net inflow has also reached $2.617 billion. Overall, the Ethereum spot ETF market remains large, with a total net asset value of $18.411 billion as of press time, accounting for 5.07% of the entire Ethereum market. Looking at the historical cumulative net inflow, these products have attracted $12.683 billion in funds. Short-term minor fluctuations are unlikely to shake institutional confidence in Ethereum’s medium- and long-term deployment.

Is BlackRock really unable to hold back this wave of reducing positions? Or is it just normal portfolio adjustment?

BlackRock is selling again? Is this testing the bottom or really losing confidence... The total net inflow of 12.8 billion is right here, short-term fluctuations can't change much. Short-term panic selling? The institution's move is a bit interesting; if they were truly optimistic about the long term, they wouldn't be entering and exiting so frequently. The outflow from ETFs compared to the total market isn't much; the 18.4 billion scale in the Ethereum ecosystem is just average, which actually indicates there is still a lot of growth potential. We can't see through the moves of BlackRock and Fidelity, but this rhythm... really needs some thought about the underlying reasons. Small investors, don't follow the trend blindly. Wait and see the next move of the big institutions before making any decisions.

BlackRock spends over 90 million a day, yet still attracts 12.8 billion in funds—how stable is that? This is how institutions operate.
