#数字资产市场动态 AI is not boiling frogs in warm water, but a shockwave coming head-on

A tech giant recently made a shocking statement — AI is like a supersonic tsunami. Sound exaggerated? But upon reflection, it’s not wrong.

Progress in traditional technology is often gradual, giving humanity time to react. AI is different. From exponential growth in computing power, self-optimizing models, to rapid infiltration into finance, healthcare, military, content creation, and other fields, the change is not linear but accelerating. Some people are still debating what AI can do, but the reality has already advanced to what AI is taking over.

Even more frightening is its irreversibility. Once this wave takes shape, there’s no turning back. The risk is not just that a certain application fails — the real danger lies in systemic shocks. Imagine: employment structures being redefined, information and power becoming more concentrated, human decision-making increasingly delegated to algorithms. If safety barriers and value judgments are not clear enough, losing control is no longer a low-probability event.

Therefore, in the face of this wave, humanity must neither be blindly optimistic nor despair. The key is to do three things simultaneously: establish effective regulatory frameworks, strengthen safety research, and build long-term governance mechanisms. Because when this "supersonic tsunami" truly hits, those who are prepared in advance will hold the initiative. A delayed response will only lead to passive suffering.

No, we really need to take action. Just calling for regulation is useless; we need to see who can be the first to build a solid defense line.

That was a bit harsh, but upon reflection, it's indeed reasonable. Our generation probably can't avoid it.

The tsunami is coming, and some people are still taking photos on the shore... It's really time to wake up.
